NIELSEN.NET RATINGS AUSTRALIAN CHIEF SUDDENLY QUITS AFTER ONLY SEVEN MONTHS
January 15th 2008 11:10
Allan Dib, chief of Australia’s main online measurement company Nielsen/Net Ratings has quit after only seven months in the job, amid growing discontent over digital traffic measurement in the $1.4 billion-a-year sector.
The Australian today reported that while the company searches for a new chief, Mark Ottaway, Nielsen Online's vice-president for regional services, Asia-Pacific, will manage the region as interim managing director, Pacific, based in Sydney.
Dib's departure comes only weeks after Telstra pulled its Sensis directories group from the Nielsen rankings.
