MEN’S ELLE TO BE LAUNCHED AS BIANNUAL IN HONG KONG

Hachette Filipacchi Magazines will launch a men's edition of its Elle magazine in Hong Kong in April.
Marketing reports that Men's Elle will launch as a biannual, and will compete with men's uno and Esquire, chasing male readers aged 25 to 40 years with high disposable income.
Christine Ho, Hachette Filipacchi Magazines associate publisher, said the company will launch two issues of Men's Elle this year, following strong interest from advertisers.
"Some of our competitors focus quite heavily on local celebs to associate with trendiness. We differ in both aspects. We still feature celebs and talk about trends, but we have strong respect to the individual. And we are international in outlook."
