BBC WORLDWIDE AND TIMES GROUP JV TO LAUNCH GRAZIA IN INDIA

Worldwide Media, a 50:50 joint venture company between BBC Worldwide and India’s Time Group, will launch a local edition of Italian women’s fashion and lifestyle magazine Grazia in India early this year
Grazia (meaning ‘grace’ in Italy) is an Italian women’s magazine with international editions in countries such as UK, the Netherlands, Greece, Portugal and Bulgaria.
An Australian edition will also be launched by ACP this year.
The magazine is owned in Italy by publishing house Arnoldo Mondadori Editore.
The circulation figures for the magazine in Italy and the UK for the period January-June 2007 are 2,18,000 and 2,20,125 copies, respectively. Agencyfaqs reports that the magazine is a weekly in Italy and the UK, but it will be published in a monthly format in India.
